The quarterly report is a week away or so, but we had the assets under management announced today.

The company also announced that preliminary June 30, 2009 assets under management were $16.3 billion, which included $4.2 billion in open-end mutual funds, $4.2 billion in closed-end mutual funds and $7.9 billion in institutional separate accounts.

So there is finally a reversal of the AUM free fall CNS has experienced. Note that after Q1

Assets under management were $11.6 billion as of March 31, 2009, a decrease of 23.2% from $15.1 billion at December 31, 2008 and a decrease of 59.4% from $28.6 billion at March 31, 2008.

Thank the market largely for the substantial increase in AUM which rose 40% from 11.6B to 16.3B. That puts CNS at an EV of only 2.5% of AUM, pretty reasonable. Not jumping in though and will listen to the call.

No position currently but someday again I expect.
