I've been an avid DRIP investor since 1988 and I am always looking for new opportunites. I recentlystumbled upon ZION while thumbing through Value Lineand I am impressed with this bank's numbers. My brotheralso lives in Salt Lake and he has only good thingsto say about ZION.The stock price has taken a tumble during the pastfour months to $43 from $65 and I'm thinking aboutgetting in while it's low. I checked out the web site (www.zionsbancorporation.com),and couldn't find much information about the DRIP. Does anyoneknow how often the plan purchases stock? Is it monthly, quarterly? (I'm hoping that it's a monthly plan) And I noticed on the Netstock Direct site that it is a fee-free plan the minimum OCP is $10.Any comments and suggestions about ZION's DRIP planwould be appreciated.Thank you!- Wild
I've been dripping ZION for just over a year, and the only bad thing I can say about the DRIP plan is the fact that they only purchase stock quarterly. I've had very good experiences with indiviuals I have talked to on the phone. Very good plan in my opinion.Richard
Thank you Richard! One last question - do you know which months ZION purchases the OCP stock? If it's not too much trouble, could you pull out oneof your old statements and check. I would definitly appreciate it. I couldn't find any informationon the Zion web site. For example Jan., April, July, Sept, Nov..Thanks again!Wild
No trouble at all Wild. They make their purchases around the 30th of Feb, May, Aug, & Nov. They require check for OCPs to be in around the 5th of the month in which they make their purchases, so I'll be sending off a check in a couple of weeks. The phone numbers I have for information about Drips (you will talk to an actual living person) are: 801-524-4624 and 800-789-8833.Richard
Well, maybe not the 30th of Feb.Richard
