does recent market movements or stock movements affect when selling puts? In other words do you wait for a big down day or a recent couple down days to sell the puts?

Thanks in advance

Do you sell puts on a 30K, 60K or 100K mile interval?

For some, it's every 3 months or 3000 miles, whichever comes first.

Will synthetic extend that interval?

Strangely enough, when you use synthetic for puts or calls it shortens the interval before it blows up.

Then again, I typically create a synthetic combination of a long call with a short put. It's called just buying the stock.
