I just performed my mandatory upgrade to '08 from '05.

Things I'm pleased with:
1). I have yet to encounter any new bugs. I don't know how long that will last, but at least there doesn't seem to be any show stoppers for me.

2). Multiple reports can be on screen at the same time. The capability they removed in '05 is back. (I don't know exactly which version removed it or added it back, only that for me, it wasn't in '05 and is in '08). Yea!

3). Editing transactions from within reports. VERY nice addition. Not needed too often, but when it is, it can save a lot of time and effort.

4). Tags & attachments may come in useful, but I haven't started using them yet.

What I'm not happy about:
1). THREE YEARS, and they still couldn't fix the double-reporting of cash in investment reports. WTF?! Gimme a break.

2). Tabs at the top take up vertical space and I can't get rid of them.

3). It seems slower. Online updates take longer to process, reports take longer to generate. Not hugely different, but moving in the wrong direction.

All in all, one of the least painful updates in a while, IMO.

Ken
