For the first time in a few years, I had to made a video for someone. I ended up burning it to DVD because I did not understand how to get this video online.

I tried making in QT, even thought I might load in into YouTube. For some reason, it would not upload to my .mac movies. I tried to make it as small as possible. Is there a size limitation? I have seen some pretty long videos on YouTube and mine was not all that long. YouTube was too confusing to me, but I have in the past uploaded movies to .mac and still have one there. All I could get is a blank window.

At some point, I might want to have a QT movie on my personal website and I know I will have to make a video in a few months that is to be shared with various people around the country and overseas. Would be nice to share online instead of sending DVD's all over the place.

Sooo....can someone clue me in as to how I make a QT movie that can be shared online? I believe I have QT pro 7.1.3. The Quicktime logo has a little "pro" on it. Paid for it ages ago.

Thanks, Birgit
