That sounds like a reasonable approach to me, Joseph!

I can't understand why everyone here is so intent on raising taxes. This only provides more SS funds for the politicians to steal from for their pork barrel projects. What makes the lock box approach such a non-starter?
Can anyone here project the beneficial effect to the SS program?

I wish everyone would quit discussing increasing the flow of money into the SS system until this basic issue is properly addressed.

Then the next step should address the effect of various (unintended)expansions now tapping into the SS program.
