They use automated calling lists to let the members know of deaths in the membership and when the visitation and funeral will be. Because of the do-not-call lists the information won't get out by phone any longer. E-mail is also not an answer because a lot of elderly members don't have computers."

There are ways around this. There is regular mail and the folks who sign up for calls from a specific service should still be able to get calls regarding that service. The only telemarketers that are beign affected are those that tend to cold call folks.
