"Become one of the welfare weenies, collect disability , housing allowances, sign up for $50,000 per 'farmer' that didn't farm, join some victim class and sue for 20 billion and hope you win on a legal extortion lottery, ......by not working for a paycheck. WOrk 'under the table' for cash. The Greeks do it all the time." - telePeople do it down here all the time. I've known plenty of people in my life who have made their living through the "cash economy." Yard sales every weekend, buying and selling at flea markets, selling through little sales pamphlets and in newspapers, it's all done with cash. Cutting back your hours at your "regular" job just enough to get benefits and not working any overtime and then make money on the side cutting grass, doing jobs for friends and acquaintenances, cutting firewood and selling it, fixing up old cars and selling them, raising animals and selling them in the paper, etc. It's a way of life in the South.
