"Can you imagine if Bush was President and everything else remained the same? "

Are you saying that Nepolitano is trying to lie us into a war?

Four people get killed in a terrorist attack in ungoverned part of Libya, it is a national crisis because Obama was not immediately aware of what was happening. Bush gets warned in advance of 9/11, blows off the warnings and 3,000 US civilians and military get killed on US soil.

It seems that republicans have no sense of scale. The Bush obfuscations and plain old fu's were not just in a different ballpark, but a different game on a different planet. The Libyan ambassador's guards got killed along with him because we knew he needed guards, we just didn't have enough. The people in the twin towers did not have any guards except for their government which did precisely zero to protect them from a known threat.

Maybe the 3 guards the Libyan ambassador had should have been 30. But 3 is infinitely bigger than zero which is what the folks in the twin towers had. As to Napolitano, if she really wanted to fear monger she would let folks know what is really going to happen; instead of long lines TSA and Customs will speed up their processes and the consequences for someone could be something a lot more sever than spending an extra hour waiting in line.
