<<She is like a sister to me. Honestly, since my $30K windfall (which I posted about), I really wish I could help her financially, and I would if the circumstances were different. But I won't do it unless/until she demonstrates a willingness to make some of these necessary changes. God, that sounds so pompous, but I know that if she doesn't have some kind of real breakthrough, it will be like using a teaspoon to fill up the ocean. Or whatever that expression is. ;-)

"Sex In the City" really ought to be "Credit in the City", the adventures of three single girls in New York City as they juggle credit cards, debt and expensivce lifestyles supported by jobs with inadequate incomes. They could stand in for all the single guys and married couples in the same straits.

Maybe people could learn something.
