Wow, I thought my label was long!

Seriously, I think that asking someone their religion is analogous to asking them their favorite sexual position. It's rude and intrusive, and only close friends should be able to get away with it, and then only in certain situations. As Jefferson once said, "My religion is between me and my God."

It usually comes up around the Christian holidays. People ask me what I'm doing for Easter, for example, and when I say I'm not Christian, they want to know what I am. When I can't hand them the appropriately labelled post-it note to put on my forehead, they get very confused. ;-)
