Seems like a really weird decision.

As a college student, in the early 80's after buying my 1st used stang, I was obsessed with trying to find pictures of right hand drive 69 Mustangs. Seemed so small a market and I figured in the 60's it was servicemen who created a little ponycar demand in the UK & W.Germany...even then it was a niche market that prob made little ROI sense given how much more sold in the US & Canada. I don't recall the 69 being inherently changeable - it had to be modded with firewall changes either on the line or post assembly (Car Craft or whoever type operations I's hard to remember ;-)
