Yeah, that's what that article Warrl posted said. I hadn't thought of that. You're right, 42" is about right for the area it has to fit in and for our room. In fact 42" might be the maximum for our living room.

The article Warrl posted said that if you sit off center, which my wife does, an LCD screen might not be the best option. I don't even know what an LCD screen is but if I don't buy an LCD screen what are the alternatives and what kind of screen would or should I buy if not an LCD?

I think this Christmas I'm going to splurge and get us a fancy new TV. One I can stream Netflix shows and movies over.
