OK, Pet Peave Time.

Why exactly is it that banks can give better deals to their customers based on their age being >50? I thought age discrimiation was illegal in this country. Imagine if they tried to charge more/give worse interest to their customers over 50. I have contemplated barging into my bank and demanding the over 50 deal (I'm 30) and threatening a lawsuit if they refuse.
