"I do like a good hot sauce! Reds is my go-to, but I like Tabasco too. I want to try a local product, Clancy's Fancy, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I prefer the flavor of the cayenne-based sauces, but love the heat of the jalapeño-based ones. Sometimes I simply mix them." - Colovion

I believe Reds hot sauce is a cayenne based hot sauce so I would classify it as a fairly typical Louisiana Hot Sauce. I've never heard of Clancy's Hot Sauce so I can't speculate about it.

I forgot to mention one other hot sauce that is absolutely delicious and that is Cholula Hot Sauce which is actually made from Pequin and Arbol chiles and it is expensive and delicious!

I like the flavor of Habenero hot sauce made from habenero peppers but it so hot that I can only take it in very small amounts. Boy howdy! I've heard the flavor described as fruity but it is actually rather unique.
