"I don't wear Vietnam War, Gulf War, Iraqi Freedom, or any other sort of those hats for the reasons CC cited. It would be more than wrong for me attempt to pass myself off as one of those heroes. Now, I'll wear my submarine cap because I earned it." - wolverine

When we lived in Maynardville, Tennessee I used to go to little local barber shop and get haircuts. On the outside of the barbershop were two small benches and inside there were two rows of chairs were there were always 5 or 6 old hillbilly geezers waiting for someone to walk in that they could tell hellacious lies to.

They weren't there to get haircuts, they were there to see how gullible people were and how big a whopper they could get someone to believe. These old guys wore bib overalls and were all leathery and worn out looking and you couldn't believe one single thing they told you. Nada, nothing. More than likely everything that came out of their mouths was complete and utter nonsense.

I learned real quick when I went in there to take everything they told me with a grain of salt because in all likelyhood they had just made it up right there on the spot.
