"I guess I'm a moderate on this issue. I'm not "afraid" of science, but I am leery of eating meat animals stuffed with food unnatural to them. Cattle should be in the sunshine eating grasses and fresh water, not antibiotic-laden corn (becasue it's bad for their gut). Pastured beef, chicken and eggs have more Omega-3 fatty acids and therefore healthier to eat. I'm leery of eating produce loaded with pesticides and weed-killers. I'm more concerned about how my food was raised than whether its genes were manipulated. For naturally raised meat/poutry/eggs: http://www.eatwild.com/products/index.html = alstromeriaIt's great that you can afford to be so picky. Most people in the world are not so lucky. They are more concerned with just filling their bellies rather than worrying if it's organic and natural. There are 7,000,000,000 humans on the Earth right now. By 2050 it will be closer to 10,000,000,000 humans. Keeping all those bellies full is going to be difficult, especially if we are hindered from using the latest scientific technologies.Art
