"I need some suggestions on what to use to elminate the bermuda grass that
seems to be overtaking my flower beds. Of course I don't want to kill the flowers
and shrubs only the grass. "

good luck with that idea.

i turned my flower beds into vegetable beds last spring. roundup is what i use to get rid of bermuda and my old non producing vegie plants.

unfortunately, everything gets killed. bermuda is stubborn. other than hand picking the bermuda, i don't know of a method to selectively take bermuda out and leave everything else intact.

you will be fighting bermuda for years to come. sorry.

i did run across a product last february that killed bermuda on my lawn and left the fescue intact. can't remember what it was called.
