The deductible is not all that big an issue if there is a maximum outlay. You still have to look at the overall potential cost.

I have a very small deductible but I'm paying over $25,000 a year for individual insurance.

Obamacare is going to be a huge boost for those starting a new business. People who might have been forced to hold a low paying job just for the insurance will be able to go out on their own and start their own business, knowing they can purchase affordable insurance.

As I've said before, most Americans have been spoiled by employer health insurance and have never had to get out and face the health insurance market on their own.
That game was tightening up anyway, Obamacare or not. Companies were being choked by rising health care costs and the moans & groans we are getting today from conservative owned companies, such as Whole Foods and Papa John's, would have been there regardless.
