"I will be happy to post all of my sample letters if you guys want to read them. Just let me know if you want them. These letters are good for attacking negatives on your credit reports, forcing collectors to validate under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, stopping a lawsuit before it gets started, etc."

Hi LizardKing2001!

Can I call you Lizard? 8^)

After having successfully completed an eighteen month Debt Repayment Program with CCCS, my wife and I find that our credit was really no better than when I started. The only positive is that we have the satisfaction of knowing that we paid every single debt we owed; even those that were charged off were paid to the appropriate collection agency. Immediately after completion, I got copies of our Credit Reports and started challenging old Late Pay/ Charge Off remarks on our credit reports through the CRA. Because they got their money, most of the creditors have been uninterested in bothering to confirm my old late charges, and so many of them have dropped off. Some of the stains on our Credit Reports, however, are stickier than others, and have resisted my efforts to remove them. So my question is this: Do you have a form letter that is appropriate for this scenario that you are willing to share? If so, my e-mail address is tda325@go.com.

Many Thanks In Advance!
