"I wonder why the brilliant Buffett doesn't comment about honest accounting for the government"

I think it's because he feels enough heat for the Buffett Rule. I too think it's a bit strange that he never talks about WHERE spending cuts should take place when clearly that's where the real problems are. Tax rates IMO are a non-starter and are a distraction of the real issues here.

Government spending and out of control unfunded promises is where the real problems clearly lurk. It's funny, Buffett said in a country as rich as ours, while answering a question about Obamacare, that every American has should have health insurance coverage and for that Obamacare is good. Of course, government participation will only mean rising health costs. Which Buffett says is the "tape-worm" of our economy.

Well, you can't have it both ways IMO--more mandated coverage and shrinking costs. AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. Healthcare cost will go just go up more dramatically now.
