That hurts the left's cause far more than helping it. although I'm not sure if that was your point.
The right's problem with this case wasn't that George Zimmerman was a brilliant individual who should be cannonized.
It was that this was not a case of racism and did not deserve the attention and comments of the President of the United States.

At worst, Zimmerman is a delusional, paranoid hispanic democrat who panicked and committed manslaughter. I won't lay blame on all democrats for his behavior.
