How about that pink slime in ground beef last yr or yr before with ammonia...ewww!Just because they have regulations doesn't mean they are followed and inspected 100% of the time. If you really believe all that then why don't you become a vegetarian like my wife? She will eat eggs and drink and eat dairy products but won't eat any muscle tissue. She is an ovo-lacto-vegetarian.

Me? I don't care. In fact I'd love to try horse meat sometime. I bet it's delicious. And I think ground beef with "pink slime" in it has a better mouth feel and texture. It makes the ground beef more like Salisbury Steak.
