"I've been hearing so much about 'means testing SS' and 'greedy bleeping boomers', i thought the suggestion was to raise the tax on SS income (curently ,iirce, up to about 86%, dependent on some crazy formula)

The dems want SS paid on all income they can grab....including investment income and cap gains....

they are greedy beady eyed money sucking socialists ......

Not only that, they want the employers to also pay on whatever someone makes up to gazillions of dollars.

Of course, those folks won't get an extra dime in SS...that is 'capped'.....

Then the dems likely want 100% of SS taxed..now they only tax 85% of what you get......but it is YOUR MONEY to start with. They took it...and when you retire, they barely give you your money back, but then you got to pay tax on it too!......

The dems won't be happy till you turn over your entire paycheck and all your investment income...and they give you a $100/week allowance to live on. If you are deserving and 'vote right'.
