Nick; If you are interested in yields and have a sig. sum of $$ and never sold covered calls you are either not an informed investor and you are def. missing one of the more conservative investnent strategies. II have been writing covered calls for more then 20 years and it is the only investment strategy I have found that has produced good returns (no home runs) over the years. Even in 2000 it put a lot of money in my pocket and caused me to sell many stocks when they declined to below my stop points. In the last few years I have gone long a few Puts and so far that has caused me to loose most of my premiums.
