"Just curious, but with 70 holdings, wouldn't it make sense just to own a precious metals fund or ETF? (If one exists) "

It's fun :-) My largest holding, in fact, is an ETF, Central Fund of Canada(CEF). As to a MF, I prefer to do it myself. As has been asked many times on the Motley Fool, "Who cares most about your money?".

Also I didn't just start out with 77 holdings, which have been trimmed back from 83. It all started when Tom G. mentioned Northgate(NXG) in the Hidden Gems newsletter... It just grew from there.

Also at that time Tom said, IIRC, that in effect he expected we could all become managers of our own small cap fund. I just happened to veer into the gold and silver sector over time.

All the best, Ken
