"Living with Challenges / Disabilities"?

I see your point and this would be a good compromise.

I almost did not post on this board because I have been fighting for almost 25 years to overcome the effects of two car accidents and a stroke not to have people think of me as being "disabled". I have spent an incredible number of hours, days, weeks and months in physical and occupational therapy inorder to stay a productive member of society. It drives me up a wall when there are certain projects at work and people say "you're not supposed to do that" as if I was 10 years old and didn't know what I can and can not do.

My doctors have even commented on a couple of occasions that I could be certified for Social Security disability, but I'm probably one of the most stubborn people you'll ever meet and I'm determined to work as long a possible.

Maybe I can't do everything that I use to do, but what I can do I do better than most.
