"Members of Congress are seriously considering proposals to rein in the growth of health spending by taking tens of billions of dollars of Medicare money away from doctors and hospitals in high-cost areas and using it to help cover the uninsured or treat patients in lower-cost regions."Wealth redistribution at work.Doesn't make any difference if NY or FL has a lot more elderly or is a much higher 'cost of living area'...We need to send those bucks to eastern KY and rural NV, where folks make 1/3rd of NY salaries, but we need to 'equalize' things......hire more helath care workers in rural NV...get more doctors there..build more hospitals....Rationing......what else did you expect as part of 'cost controls'....And wait until you see the big taxes to pay for it all!t.
