"More importantly, Phil has a 90 year old father who insists on continuing to drive, no matter how many newspaper clippings about geezers who wiped out a family I put on his breakfast plate. Any hints for me about how you sold this?"

I said this was a hypothetical. In fact, my father-in-law, who has not driven over 40MPH or more than 10 miles in the last 3 years, is talking about driving cross country. I think we can talk him out of that. The practicalities of where they would live here make parking their car at our house the best option, after which I think our doing the driving should become automatic. Knock on wood.
