That ought to tighten the race up a bit.
"That ought to tighten the race up a bit. "Nah. That BS didn't help Republicans in 2008, and won't now.Shall we delve into what Mittens has been hearing in his church?Ken
I can pretty much guarantee the Mormons are in far better standing than the likes of Wright.Hey, I thought Obama never listened to that racist America hater.
<Nah. That BS didn't help Republicans in 2008, and won't now.>good point, especially since the latest big Drudge "scoop" was already widely reported on in the last Presidential campaign.can't be a good sign for the Romney campaign if they still have to target the dog whistle demographic a month before Election Day.
<I can pretty much guarantee the Mormons are in far better standing than the likes of Wright.Hey, I thought Obama never listened to that racist America hater.>Indeed.You've discovered President Obama's weakest link.By all means keep campaigning like it is 2008.
"I can pretty much guarantee the Mormons are in far better standing than the likes of Wright."Like Mitt's hidden tax returns, how are we to know?Ken
What hidden tax returns?
I'm reading it. He says a lot of fairly dumb things about the LA riots and overuses a bullet metaphor. Hannity will jump on the Rev. Wright bits. Most of it is the usual BO populist left wing blather where he tells tall tales (like where he claims people asked him to run for office. Hahahaha! Only a delusional leftwingnut would believe that Obama got the idea for higher office from elsewhere). Some of the dumber lines include veterans and poor people not knowing how to act or dress.I did have to LOL at the first comment on the Sun Times page. Many left wingers don't consider a fetus a human being (and given the Bamster's viting record on botched abortions, maybe he doesn't either).
"But when you have seen vicious mobs lynch your mothers and fathers at will and drown your sisters and brothers at whim; when you have seen hate-filled policemen curse, kick, brutalize, and even kill your black brothers and sisters with impunity; when you see the vast majority of your twenty million Negro brothers smothering in an airtight cage of poverty in the midst of an affluent society; when you suddenly find your tongue twisted and your speech stammering as you seek to explain to your six-year-old daughter why she cannot go to the public amusement park that has just been advertised on television, and see tears welling up in her little eyes when she is told that Funtown is closed to colored children, and see the depressing clouds of inferiority begin to form in her little mental sky, and see her begin to distort her little personality by unconsciously developing a bitterness toward white people; when you have to concoct an answer for a five-year-old son asking in agonizing pathos, "Daddy, why do white people treat colored people so mean?"; when you take a cross-country drive and find it necessary to sleep night after night in the uncomfortable corners of your automobile because no motel will accept you; when you are humiliated day in and day out by nagging signs reading "white" and "colored"; when your first name becomes "nigger" and your middle name becomes "boy" (however old you are) and your last name becomes "John," and when your wife and mother are never given the respected title "Mrs."; when you are harried by day and haunted by night by the fact that you are a Negro, living constantly at tiptoe stance, never quite knowing what to expect next, and plagued with inner fears and outer resentments; when you are forever fighting a degenerating sense of "nobodyness"—then you will understand why we find it difficult to wait. - April 16, 1963.
And sadly, black people are far worse off under Obama than they were last decade under such a hateful white President. But they do have more nasty words and videos of their leader to fall back on.
Nah. That BS didn't help Republicans in 2008, and won't now. What of the BS from Obama about his "crazy uncle". The manipulation of race to motivate a vote for Obama is self serving and appalling, whatever the election cycle.99
And sadly, black people are far worse off under Obama than they were last decade under such a hateful white President. You can blame the "withhold all cooperation" Republicans for that. And while race inequality has worsened over the past few years, black scholars are uniform in their thinking that Americans of African descent would be worse off if Republicans regained full control of government.
I can pretty much guarantee the Mormons are in far better standing than the likes of Wright. That's a laugh.
