"My sister will probably be making more Christmas cookies today, I guess we should call them New Year cookies now? (What do you say, Howie?) Have to package up a bunch of them for her to take home to our other sister when they leave for MA on Wednesday.

We've been having a pretty good time. The guys are at hunting camp, still looking for that elusive deer. They should be home tonight with or without and I'll be heating up one of those spiral hams with the honey glaze for supper.

Tree still looks really good, it's one of the best trees I've ever had. As for New Year's Eve we'll probably fall asleep before midnight like we did last year. Does champagne go bad? It never got opened last year so it's just been sitting on the floor in the corner. ;-)

Christmas is still going on - and home-made cookies are always
good even if you call them fiddlesticks.

Champagne can lose it's fizz - so if it not sealed well it can
turn into cough syrup - though a light cough syrup.

I would not recommend using Robitussin with a carbonation injector.
Doubt it would make a good vintage.
