"Never my experience. Maybe because I usually filed early - by January 31."

I mailed returns in on Mar 29 last year. The Federal refund was in my account 3 weeks later, I was pleasantly surprised as I was expecting 5 to 6 weeks. The state took about 6 weeks. I figure the state, being California, was holding back as long as possible seeing we were in bad fiscal shape. I expect they'll drag their feet again. No guess on the Federal.

Regards, Ken
