"The Baron went to Old Country Buffet twice this week after not having been there since last Fall, but found himself rather disappointed with the selection and so won't be going back. They did have a really good Pasta Primavera today, however. Good ratio of veggies to pasta... lots of broccoli, in particular." Andrew

When I go out to buffets I concentrate on the meats and other low profit items and try and avoid the starches since they are cheap. I eat the food that has the highest food cost. Noodles are relatively cheap to buy and I can cook noodles and rice and potatoes and bread at home.

When I go to Chinese buffets I especially concentrate on the shrimp and mussels since I like them and they are relatively expensive compared to noodles and rice.

I do eat some vegetables when I go out, like broccoli and green beans beans, and cooked peppers and onions, since I figure I need some fiber when I'm stuffing myself with all that meat.

And for the record.... I only go out to eat like once or twice a month so it's not like I'm crashing buffets often.
