"The faithful, I fear, are in for disappointment."The true political faithful are rarely disappointed. They recongnize the rightness of their position, but also that outside events, judicious caution, conspiracies, ignorant doubters, or a host of other factors can side-track their hopes and dreams for a time. Failure to them is no a reason to reassess, no, it is a reason to redouble their efforts! They aren't called the faithful for nothing. Remember that sizable numbers of Bush supporters still think that Iraq had WMDs and was responsible for 9/11. Do not doubt for a minute that Obama's ideologues will be just as rabid, tenacious, and ill-informed.
