"The Washington Times is the number 98 American newspaper based on daily readership."Based in Washington, DC, The Washington Times has daily readership of 231,778. It is owned by News World Communications, Inc.."Hmmmm....quarter of a million readers....the WAshington POst doesn't have that many times more.....The trouble with those circulation surveys is that they don't count readers, they count the number of people who get the paper in some form or another. The Times sells for not very much but it also comps a large number of copies. The USA Today circulation numbers are inflated by the papers left in front of hotel room doors all over the country. The Wash. Times #s are similarly inflated but in slightly dfferent ways.
