"Wow! Those pencils really ARE expensive!"

How much is "expensive"? I'm just wondering. I see them here for a bit under a buck a pencil. Depending on how long they last, that doesn't seem too bad:

"Betty Edwards, Drawing On the Right Side of the Brain"

I was a "stick figure" non-artist until I did (and am still doing) the program in this book. Excellent. Limited but great for starting out, especially if, like me, you always thought your whole life that you couldn't draw.
Limited how? Like the review you pointed out says "Ms. Edwards' book teaches you how to COPY (draw) WHAT YOU SEE just as your eyes see it."

I have the "The Natural Way to Draw" book on my list to check out also, after I'm done with the Edwards book. Sounds like a pretty intensive book!
