qwerty<<As Chris Rock says "How many of you white guys would change places with me, a black man??? And I'M
RICH!!!! >>

This is SOOOOO true. The current issue of People magazine has a feature "Hollywood's Blackout, part2". In this article,(I wish I had it with me) there are dozens upon dozens of examples of racial discrimination. From actors salaries, # of black directors, # of screenwriters, and the technical unions with their lily white member lists... I could go on...

My point is that as screaming liberal as people would like to believe Hollywood is...facts are facts, it's just as discriminatory and exclusionary as the rest of the country...maybe even worse. Point in fact: Chris Rock is the first and highest paid african-american actor right now ...with his film Down To Earth he was paid $20M, which was released THIS MONTH!!!! I'm sure I don't need to go down the list of $20M/picture white actors and actresses. BTW...leading role for a African-American actress...(Halle Berry) $2.5M.

And what about the camera guys, sound guys, etc that can't get into the unions (because they are black, and they don't an insider/family to get them in)...and its nearly impossible to get work without being in the union...wouldn't 'affirmative action' at least get their foot in the door? If they are poor at their jobs, they won't get work anyway...what's wrong with giving someone a chance?

What else is there to say?
