RANT!! I am a real-estate paralegal in SC. We had a situation recently, in which a client was purchasing a FNMA REO property. Everything was fine, until the property did not appraise for the selling price. FNMA would not drop the price, nor would it make the required repairs. It is my understanding this is the third time this same situation has occurred with this same property.

This is absolutely ridiculous!!! Now, FNMA must pay the property taxes coming due in November, but keep the grass mowed, etc. This is a waste of our money.
