Rayvt:"To purposely put yourself into the situation where you are depending on the company for your house, you car, etc. is financially INSANE."Agreed.I gave you a big rec for your message. I won't say it all over again.I feel sorry for the OP. He's a victim of the rat race, and I hope he can get a grip, spend some time really thinking outside the "box", and then set sail on a new life.I wish him well.I was laid off suddenly more than a decade ago from a middle management career I enjoyed -- I thought. My wife also had to quit her career of teaching about then to care for a sick parent. Her mom passed away a couple of years later, and we were saddened, but we endured. We realize now how much happier we are to be FREE! Really free! Not rich, not even well off, but happy as all get out to be FREE to do whatever we feel like, every day.Vermonter
