As you said, you subscribed to a financial site, not a political opinion site. But, how do you dissociate one from the other?

By allowing intelligent people, to view the situation and facts as they unfold and make their own informed opinion.

As far as I know, no TMF articles requires any reader to be of the same opinion as the author, nor have I ever found that a TMF article removes a person's ability to decide for themself. It's just another opinion, agree or disagree, the choice still belongs to you.
