Sometimes an article really hits the spot. For me it this small article released not to long ago concerning the least amount of money you can invest.

http://www.fool.com/news/mft/2006/mft06031503.htm

I had 2300 dollars to invest and was looking for something to buy. I'm also a subscriber to Hidden Gems and thought that Select Comfort might be a good fit. My problem was that 2300 dollars would'nt even buy 100 shares. I kept thinking that I'd have to wait to get enough to buy in even lot, or that I'd have to look for a different stock.

I have bought small lots in the past but always thought it wasn't a good idea. I finally decided to go ahead and buy 60 shares. I decided that the number of shares really doesnt matter if I'm intending to hold for several years. I was not sure if I did the right thing. Then this article came out and made me feel alot better about my choice. So thank you to the MF staff.
