Thanks for the facts and figures! I've been thinking this way for a while now (yes, I'm a self-confessed bear right now). There was no way the consumer could keep the economy afloat for so long and corporate America needs to step up, and that's a while off too.

I think we'll be lucky to be out of this downturn next year.

That being said, I agree with you that it is a perfect time to buy good companies, just be prepared to watch them go down a bit more.
