I see IRS is having problems processing electronic returns again due to software bugs. Refunds are being delayed.

They had some serious problems with mine last year that took weeks to straighten out. In the end my return was correct and they paid the refund I filed for.

Based on their estimate my refund this year will not be issued any faster than back when I filed paper returns and had to wait a few days for the return to reach IRS. Whatever the benefits of electronic filing may be, quicker refunds isn't one of them.
