Regarding a Roth conversion, I wroteAssuming she's not too old and is eligible to convert...Scratch that... I think?? It's 1AM - I get some slack cut for me right!?I looked at my reply, and then I thought, there's no age limit for a Roth conversion, is there? For some reason I was thinking that you couldn't convert once you hit age 70 but now I don't think that's right... Maybe what I'm thinking is that if you need to take a required minimum distribution from the traditional IRA and you haven't yet taken it, you should take it before you convert so you don't get hit with a penalty for not taking it. Could that be why the age thing is stuck in my head?
