I told friends this week that I am at my angriest. After filing my entry five weeks ago for a 12k race set for two weeks, I was given a phone call last night saying the entry was denied after a mistake in logistics.

They said wait for the charity registration (extra cost) or refund. But after the previous refund was denied for the June race that I was medically disqualified, I wasn't buying into that.

I told friends I'm either going to get one of those registrations, a transfer registration, or I'm killing myself at the start line. (Oh why am I such a Menotti fan?)

Why am I such a snob?
