Does anyone know where can I get detailed information about deductability for a regular IRA? I have a question that is more complicated than most sites answer.
My wife is in a 401(k) & we file jointly. Additionally, I was involved in a 401(k) for a couple of months with an employer, but my income with them was under the phase out amounts and my total income for the year is within the maximums for phase out of deductability. But does the fact that I was in a retirement plan for part of the year keep me from taking advantage of this tax benefit?
