Thanks to the work of LordXot, here is a current listing of all REITs, equity and mortgage, at Yahoo.

http://finance.yahoo.com/quotes/ABR,ACC,ADC,AEC,AHT,AIV,AKR,...

Must have taken a long time to type all these in!!

But if you save this list as a portfolio (at bottom of listing) and look at the 'detailed view', and then go down this list, a few things seem to jump out...at least at me.

Historically strong equity REITs, such as PSA, TCO, SPG, SKT...are trading at sub 3% yields, which is kind of explainable in today's very low interest rate environment. But what's surprising is there are many, what I call less than strong REITs, also trading in the sub 3% yield group, such as ELS, PKY, PCH, GTY and others who have cut their dividends in the past. OTOH, some long term reliable, albeit slow growth dividend payers, particularly the HC REITs (HCN, HCP, LTC, SNH) and triple-nets like O and NNN, are trading with yields North of 4.5%.

My thanks to Xot for taking the time to build this list.

BruceM
