There must be a way to search the news by date, in an efficient (read I'm lazy) manner. I want to be able to pick a company and search the news for it, only look back in the past while doing and only get stories from a selected time window in the past. An example of me doing this would be as follows -

*play windchime like effect to signify dream sequence*
*ripples spreading from the center of the screen bring the scene out of focus then back again, to a different scene, a young man is sitting at his computer*

"I'm just a young man, sitting at his computer. I wonder whether or not to "bet the farm" (Woah, air quotations) (Woah squared, how do you even verbalize the use of a parenthesis) on XYZ. They have been downtrending since May twenty fourth, which was a month ago. I've already looked at earnings, but that didn't tell me the whole story why they're spiraling down like surveillance plane over a nude beach. I'll just this handy dandy "Made Up Research Tool" TM to look up news around that date and get a clearer picture of what Mr. Market is thinking, and determine whether or not he's got the right idea.
