How was Obama not on top of a program that would define his legacy? Wouldn't you be holding meetings every day asking how prepared we were for everything? Would you have tech experts briefing you each day on where we stood and getting opinion after opinion on what we need to do to ensure a relatively smooth start? Yes, technical problems are par for the course but not a complete breakdown.

Doctor's offices have had to hire legions of insurance coders just to make sure that they eventually get paid a fraction of what they charge for their services. Even experienced coders face frequent changes in coding. This is virtually every doctor, every medical facility across America. Do you really think that an insurance industry that has spent so many dollars fighting this law wouldn't take the opportunity to make an already massively complex structure even more so, so that they could have one more shot at getting it repealed?

I know it is easy to think that Obama can't even put together an internet-based healthcare system. But you are also talking about a man who used the internet more effectively to get elected and re-elected than any President in history. This (ACA) is (outside of killing Osama bin Laden) and (turning losing 800,000 jobs a month into gaining 150,000/month) is his signature accomplishment. If you think the reason there are so many problems rolling out the ACA is even remotely his fault, you are just not thinking it through.

He has the health insurance industry working against him, The entire GOP working against him, and the right wing media highlighting every non-perfect action while minimizing every achievement. He is still getting it done, they may delay him some but they will no more defeat him on this implementation than they did in the election they ran against him and the ACA.

Call you local primary doctor's office and see if they have any problems with timely payments or with insurance companies rejecting claim for service because of coding issues, etc. Then imagine that same industry turning its full experience for delaying payments and complicating the coding of procedures performed against one source. Think it through and don't start drinking the KoolAid now.
