International funds have been doing well recently. So it could be a great time to accumulate and that is a decent way to diversify your holdings.

I'm not familiar with RERFX. You will want to check it out on and be sure it is at least three stars in performance. Also what does R-3 mean? ARe fees reasonable? 12b-1 fees? Expense ratio? Recent management changes?

I like your plan, but would go with RERFX only if its at least average compared to other similar funds.
